French Accent Codes.  (For PC computers)                       
A French computer keyboard is set up differently from an English computer keyboard.
They have different keys to type the accent letters like é, œ, è and ç etc.

In order to get French accents in your work there are codes that you can use that tell your computer to
type them if you don't have a French keyboard.

An example is the letter è. To get this letter, look for the ALT key. It's usually on the bottom line of keys
next to the space bar on the left.  Hold down the ALT key and then use the number pad on the right of
the keyboard (not the numbers at the top of the keyboard) to type the numbers 0232. When you release
the ALT key the letter è will appear. It's the same process for the other accent letters.



what i mostly do is try to remember the ones i use most, like é, or è.
 
another way to do it is to click on start and hover over programs, then accesories, then system tools and click character map, it has a list of all of them.
